- Working principle:

Determination of chloramine concentration by modified phenol salt method. Then take the secondary water sample, add excessive hypochlorite, under the appropriate pH value, hypochlorite reagent can convert all the free ammonia in the sample to chloramine, and then use the phenol salt method to measure the ammonia concentration. Total ammonia minus chloramine gives the concentration of free ammonia. The content of free ammonia tested was not interfered by residual chlorine in the water sample.

Applicable to tap water chloramine disinfection process, monitoring total ammonia, free ammonia and chloramine content.
